Island Coffee Shop - City of New York

I'm wary of businesses that only accept cash, particularly those that don't provide a sign at the entrance to inform customers. Because of this, my overall experience is tainted when it comes time to settle the bill. There's an $8 fee at the ATM, and there's also no parking available. Food rating: 1/5.

My husband and I visit every Sunday after the 7:30 mass. We love the food and the service. The staff are truly wonderful!

I visited this restaurant for breakfast after hearing great reviews from friends. The interior is quite small, so there’s definitely a wait for a table; we waited around 15 minutes. I ordered waffles and coffee, but unfortunately, both were just average. I can honestly say I make better coffee at home, and I’ve had tastier waffles at other diners. However, my husband ordered eggs and bacon, and he said his meal was very good.

It's a nice little diner also quiet. Food is always good there. From pancakes to eggs I've been satisfied each time.Food: 5/5
