Empanadas Monumental - City of New York

The chicken empanada was delicious. However, the guava and cheese didn't have the sweetness I was hoping for. The staff was friendly and spoke English perfectly.

The shredded chicken inside the large empanada was piled high in the center. I snapped a photo, but I'm unable to share it.

I bought a lot of pastelitos to take home for my family, thinking there couldn't be anything wrong with them—after all, they’re pastelitos! However, I was very disappointed. First, the meat had a stale smell, and second, it was clearly the lowest quality meat. Lastly, they just placed the meat in the center like a big clump. My family didn't enjoy them at all.

I like the tear drop shaped seasoned chicken. Pretty good

The best food in town .. I'm extremely hook eat one every night,... ? highly recommend ? folks
