Fri/Sat/Sun dinner AYCE is great. Lunch AYCE does not include sashimi and many of the good rolls, but you can have the dinner AYCE at lunch if you ask!The cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. The black dishes show water spots and things like dried on rice fragments that make it through the dishwasher very clearly. Dietary restrictions: Asking for gluten free preparation on something as simple as sashimi has been a failure two out of two times. Whether it's the frequently unclean dishes or the preparation stations not being sanitized, I do not know, but cross contamination is definitely happening here. Parking: Ample parking available in a shared strip mall style parking lot.
The value you get for these All-You-Can-Eat Sushi places is super good, if you're not too fussy about your sushi. This place seems to be a rebrand of the previous AYCE sushi place in this location. The menu looked the same, except for their signature Akame roll.Like I said, if you're not fussy with your fish quality, these will satiate your palate. The sashimi is thinly-sliced and while the salmon was good, the tuna was on the lighter side of pink there. But at least the Rainbow Roll was pretty good, though the rice paper wrapping on the Akame Roll made it too dry for a roll.
It's good and the seating is very low-key it's about 30 dollars for all you can eat.
This is our first time going under new ownership/name and the food was hot and fresh and service fast and friendly. However, there is a mandatory service fee tacked onto your bill, so be prepared for that. It would be nice to know if this is actually for something meaningful like staff health insurance vs. just a skim off the top, which is what it felt like since there is no explanation for it.
