Perhaps it is a sign of time that people are not satisfied with pub grub to go with their beer and ask for something more. or maybe the margins are better with food on the side. Alternatiw, maybe if that was salty enough, it could promote more liquid refreshments. or perhaps if it was suitable adventurous, it could try a part of the food to require the liquid mut.
I wanted to visit the heron for ever, but was always set off by the long hike from east london to paddington. I was very disappointed tonight. Previously, they had a call not to pamper themselves uncompromisingly for the Thai-Expat community, but to take care of the British palate. they are under new management that has replaced the funky authentic isaan lean food card (som tam with tiny picked crabs crushed whole, isaan fermented acid sausage, wels larb, fried deenergizations) with a standard brit pub thai menu. all usual suspects like green curry and padthai are now available we have ordered the best we could give to the restrictions of the new menu. larb gai was...read more
Who would have thought that down from a pub, the heron, that I would come across the best Thai food I had the opportunity to experience in whole london. the orange curry threw me away.

Other visits have the fairly well known plate of larb, pronounced rasb, a spicy salat with either bark boar or shhn and schalottes, spring onions, chili, roasted rice powder, limette juice and fish sauce, knocking in unsignifizies in comparison to the plate, which has tasted as broken crispy chin this is my favorite dish, of pure pleasure, with its crispy roasted rice balls, such as Thai arancini, scattered over a spicy chopmeat salad, that is a larb with posture. there is, should they need, desserts the ice cream variant. I choose durian fruits and taro as well as blunt old cocosnuss. read more
GOOD. Service a bit slow, food amazing, but never go for spicy. never.
