When my friend and I visited, the restaurant wasn't very crowded. There was a table hosting a birthday party, which was nice, and another full table at the other end. My yogurt lamb soup was a bit too tangy for my taste, but the well-seasoned liver I ordered was delicious. Despite there being at least six staff members on duty, it was a challenge to get service. However, this won't stop me from coming back. Hopefully, next time will be a better experience.
The restaurant itself is lovely and the service was excellent, with a special thanks to the waiting staff. However, I was not impressed with the food. The Kisir was delicious, the bread was excellent, and the side salad was good, but the other dishes were low quality. I ordered the vegan platter and it seemed like either the food was prepared in the same area as meat or the oil used had an off taste, giving the dishes a hint of meat flavor. Even the tomato sauce was off, leading me to believe the food was not prepared with care. The prices are too high for the mediocre taste, especially for a Turkish restaurant in Harringay.
The food was ok but the service was dull, no attention to our table unless you really made them pay attention to you. It was Monday night we went the restaurant was not busy, imagine if it was full how long you have to wait for the waiter to come to your table when they delay that in quiet times…!! The cost is overpriced for food and drinks, a bottle of Turkish beer is £7.5 like in the fancy bar in the west end when this is only Harringay Turkish corner shop and take away restaurant street. Never again!!
Just like any beautiful water. The service was flowing staff, was consistent with the service. Food as usual was amazing. The adana kebab on the mix grill was sooooo tasty. The food just great and that all we can ask for. Plus lots to take away.
