Rose And Crown Pub

We went to Rose Crown to celebrate New Year's Eve. The service was fast and the atmosphere was cozy. We were fortunate to be able to see the London Fireworks display at midnight from the end of the road! We would definitely come back again as we had a fantastic night with friendly staff, delicious drinks, and excellent food!

I came here for Sunday roast and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meal was. The bartender was so lovely and answered all of our questions. I wish that we would have had time to visit this pub again on our stay, but I would definitely go back on a future trip.

My partner and I went here for dinner since we were staying in a nearby hotel and thought the menu looked promising. Inside we found the place packed with a post-work crowd and the place woefully understaffed to handle the demand, despite 630pm on a Wednesday being an entirely predictable rush. Our food arrived after 45 minutes completely cold and it looked like only 5% of the necessary effort had gone into preparing it.

The service at this pub is excellent. The staff, particularly Cloe, is attentive, well-informed, and truly invested in making sure you have a wonderful experience. It is refreshing to encounter such exceptional customer service. I will certainly come back to enjoy their excellent service and atmosphere. Thank you, Cloe, for a great experience.

Made a reservation months ago and reconfirmed twice including the day before. Got there to find 100 drunk men stuffed into the down stairs room and the supposed upstairs restaurant was closed . Rechecked web site and they were still taking reservations for that day. UNDER NO Circumstances go there.
