Gigi's - City of London,Westminster

My partner brought me a meal at Gigi's for one of my Christmas present, thus I was looking forward too. It was a disappointment, when we approached the restaurant it looked really smart, situated in the corner at the end of a short road, with...it fairy lights and tables outside. The meal was ok, my partner had a huge steak and I had chicken, and that was it, every thing else was extra. We asked for the crab starter, off the menu, I had a beetroot salad 6 small pieces of beetroot on a cream of some sort and 3 toasted cheese triangles, my partner had Caesar salad. The problem, as I see it is, that with a little bit of TLC the restaurant could be outstanding, no condiments or the offering of such, a rather lemoned attitude of the dark haired waitress made the occasion slightly less than memorial. The meals need a sprinkle of appetising dust to make it a really nice restaurant

Verdict: Highly recommended 5/5 Food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5 I got to know about this wonderful restaurant in 2014, and ever since, I have been going there every time Im in London. The place is conveniently located near oxford...street. The food and the combination of ingredients is amazing, the food presentation is like art, and the service atmosphere are good. Have tried their risotto, ravioli, I recommend that you visit this restaurant. I will definitely go there next time Im in London!

I was very excited about trying this place out, i wish i hadn't. The staff were rude and impatient and when we got the food eventually it was below average. Expected a lot more from such an established restaurant.

We went with a groupon voucher on a Friday night. The welcome was pleasant and the service throughout was professional but a little impersonal. The food was excellent and on the advice of the waitress we shared a side order which was perfect. The loin...strips we had were excellent and cooked exactly as ordered. The décor is classy but the atmosphere lacked the wow factor. Very good value for money with the voucher but I would not be so happy paying the full price tag.
