This is a new church that welcomes everyone. They promote community and serving neighbors. The church's moto is Love Jesus, Love each other, and Love the world. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. They offer a great children's program for people with kids. And the best part is they have free coffee and snacks.

Wow, seriously , a review of a church . Who am I to write a review of a church? In what world am I deserving to write about this ? I am more sinner than saint , more questions than answers. I 'm cynical , somewhat untrusting, and often jaded. Yet I don 't think any of that mattered for 60 minutes this past Sunday . My daughter Gabby invited my wife and I to attend Christ 's Church Albany services with her. What a beautiful , wonderful, and humbling day it was. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable, not rushed , pressured , or overwhelmed but comfortable . We found ourselves in a pop-up type setting of delightful white folding chairs 3 large screen TVs to follow along the songs and stories a keyboard and a guitar. A no pressure preacher Jonathan who spoke of service to community and each other, of living a Epic Heroic Life. There was song and an open Communion offering. There was even a before , and after services Café for coffee tea cocoa and cookies ,all provided for and offered freely. On this particular Sunday there were visitors from Albania , from a church they founded I think Planted is the correct term there. They shared their own stories of Faith and of Struggle ,the entire time while just sitting on a stool with a mic. No pulpit , no lectern ,best of all, no preaching at, but rather speaking to. Although I don 't know when ill be back as I reside hours away I will not soon forget my day with the fine people of Christ 's Church Albany . So folks here comes a heartfelt review....If you ever want to get you Church On. ...and you are not a fan of, being hit over the head by either, the Hell and Brimstone cast thee out preachers, or you have become weary of the 50 foot Brick and Brownstone walls, Cathedral Marble and Gold ceilings with pews that fit 200... stop by here. I 'm more than certain Jonathan as well as the entire congregation will welcome you as they did us. I remember hearing the preacher say..: a church isn 't a building, its the people , and these people are tops... 5 stars across the board.

This is a new independent church in albany for regular people. It's very welcoming and has a great band and cafe. Comfortable atmosphere for newbies.

My wife and I were looking for a vibrant local church that loved Jesus and also cared for our community. CCA met all of that and more. If you live in Albany you should definitely come and visit Christ's Church Albany.
