Banana Leaf - CITY

We took interstate friends to dinner at Banana Leaf and had a wonderful dining experience. Everyone chose a different meal and they were all excellent. Also, the waitresses was friendly and helpful. I would this restaurant to anyone.

Nice food. Different to the Indian types of curries: entrees were different (and nice). The mains were nice and good quality. Its worth being forward in seeking service here though, as it seemed we were forgotten a few times, though once we got attention, our needs were met quickly enough.

I made a last minute booking on a busy Saturday night. Thankfully they found me a table. They held it for me even though I was a few minutes late.Banana Leaf is very popular. My tip is to book early to avoid missing out.I sought the advice of the waitress. I had the Lomprisht, as recommend by her. The curries were flavoursome and exquisite.My watalapum was superb and made a wonderful finish to my dining experience. I have had this wonderful dessert before.The waiting staff were consistently helpful. They showed a genuine interest in my enjoyment of the food.Banana Leaf is a very good restaurant. The decore alone marks out this restaurant for its quality.I recommend dining at Banana Leaf Canberra.

First ever visit to Banana Leaf and I was not disappointed. They were very busy but the food was prompt. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the manager was incredibly hospitable. Both meals were excellent and of generous proportions. I will definitely be back.

We have had so many meals here that i have lost count. We keep coming back because of the outstanding food, consistently excellent service and convenient location.The menu is comprehensive whilst the food is superbly cooked and bursting with flavours that tempt the taste buds. Hard to fault really. The wine list is excellent with good varietal/brand selections. The service is superb. Attentive at all times but never intrusive at all.All this combines to make for an excellent dining experience. Your sure to enjoy.
