Armenian Grill House - Citrus Heights

Wanted to check this place out for awhile. It's right across from Birdcage Target and the menu looked like what I would love. We went on Friday night. It was not busy. Order at the counter then they bring the food to your table. Our Food was very flavorful. I give it 5 stars. Service was 4 stars but it is the ambiance that was the downfall. I felt like I was in a fish bowl. The fluorescence lights in the office style T Bar ceiling in combination with a wall of windows next to our table gave us an uncomfortable dining experience. I would go back for lunch but not at night. It's too bad because the food is great. I recommend for lunch

Delicious food! Such a treat. We got the falafel rice bowl and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Nice service. Outdoor seating was spaced apart. Employees wore masks. Highly recommend.

Great family owned restaurant in an easy to find shopping center, we have enjoyed the food and the services, it's always fresh and clean here and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy

The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. Armenian food is similar to Greek and Persian food. The meats are fire roasted,flavorful and tender. The rice is fluffy and lightly spiced. They offer complimentary flat bread and hummus.
