What disappointed me the most was the automatic addition of a "OPTIONAL" 10% service charge to the bill. I dislike it when restaurants include this charge by default; if I want to leave a tip, I prefer to do so at my discretion. When I asked the server to remove this "optional" charge, I was met with hostility. She questioned my decision and made us uncomfortable while I explained that I simply don't like the automatic addition. This interaction spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant evening, and I won't be returning. It's clear that staff training is needed on how to treat customers. Incidentally, the woman who spoke to us appeared to be a supervisor or manager, as she wasn't in regular server attire, and I was appalled by her attitude towards us.

We visited for lunch and opted for the set menu. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back the next time we're in Cirencester. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ihor the waiter was one to remember. He was very attentive, knowledgable about every dish and drink incl. cocktails. Perfect manners, excellent attitude and very very friendly and pleasant. He also gave us Xmas scratch cards. He definitely was the highlight of our visit Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
