Korea House - Cincinnati

This restaurant was mediocre. I ordered the popular dish Dolsot Bibimbop and it was decent, but I've had better elsewhere. I added shrimp, but some of them tasted fishy. Our waitress was friendly, but it took a long time for our drinks to arrive, even water, despite the restaurant not being full. There were three of us, and both my friends had to ask for clean glasses because the ones provided had lipstick on them. The server replaced them, but it took a while to get them back. She did offer a discount on the bill, but overall, it wasn't a great first impression and I won't be returning.

Four for dinner. Appetizer came out same time as 3 of the meals. The 4th meal was absent for over 20 min. After tacking down the waitress that never stopped by to see if we needed anything, including drinks. She went to check. She stated the kitchen had forgotten to prepare the 4th meal. Everyone one else was finished when the 4th meal came out. Still the waitress never came by to check or ask if we needed more drinks. Looking around the restaurant it seemed things were moving slowly all around.

We have been there several time and love the food. Service was good and friendly. Gave good suggestions.

Overall, I feel Korea House is average; the food is not as authentic and seems to have been catered to please a bland palette at times when American tastes crave authenticity and bold flavors.Our server was friendly; however, the kitchen may not be as efficient in delivering food orders. The restaurant is good for everyday dining but the prices are not affordable for everyday dining... Not the best value for money.

We have been here before like the food. Sushi other food give a lot of choices. Even our 2 year old grandson liked the food.
