Terrible food and poor service! Phad Thai was sweet and not like Phad Thai. Ordered a 3/10 spice level and it was like a 0. Everything was bland. Plus we said we needed to leave for a show and were finished, sat waiting forever for the bill.
The food tasted pretty ok but really lacked on spices. My friend and I both ordered 6/7 (out of 10) in spice level and it was barely a 1. I was surprised that they seem to just dump red chili flakes on it vs an oil. The pork belly was almost all fat (yes I know pork belly has a lot of fat , but there was little actual meat) and unseasoned. I'd try them again but would definitely try something else.
We frequently look for a place to dine before attending the Cincinnati Pops Sunday concert. Teak OTR is a restaurant we have gone several times. The food is always delicious, and we've found the servers to be very friendly as they scurry through their duties. I miss the quirkiness of the Mt. Adams Teak, but the new location has all the excellence of food, beverage, and service of the original. And it's such a short walk to Music Hall that we eat there more often.
Teak has been a go to of ours since it reopened downtown a few years ago. The spice can be inconsistent at times, but is always still delicious. A go to of ours is the Spicy Fried Noodles and always have to get Spring Rolls. Other great options are the green curry or chicken Thai spicy if you want a rice dish. Sushi is delicious too truly cant go wrong here!
