This is the oldest bar still in operation since the bootlegging days and deserves to be recognized as a landmark!
This is a cozy neighborhood bar, and honestly, it's the last one of its kind in Cicero. If you're seeking a calm spot to relax without the stress you might experience in other places—like feeling pressured to fit in with certain crowds or just feeling unwelcome—then this is the right place for you. The staff is friendly, and the customers are, too.
The owners are wonderful! The bar is incredible, featuring fantastic music. The drink prices are very reasonable! I will definitely return!
It's a calm neighborhood bar and, in all honesty, the last neighborhood bar in Cicero. If you're looking for a calm place to hang out without all the tensions you'll find elsewhere (i.e., feeling pressured to fit in with certain crowds, or just unwelcomed), then this is the place to go. The staff is friendly, and so are the patrons.
Dropped in to hang out with my son and daughter in law who are visiting from Virginia. Tomi, our adopted family member, put together for me a great dirty martini. The place is very clean, including the bathroom. Regulars hang out here, and, there's a Pac Man game machine.
