Baskin-robbins - Cicero

I visited this restaurant on short notice after the person supposed to make my son's cake cancelled on me. I was pleasantly surprised when the restaurant was able to accommodate my request for a cake. The Nintendo Switch cake was a huge hit with everyone, and the biggest cake on the menu was gone in no time. The ice cream cake was also fantastic!

I absolutely adore this place! The sandwiches, frozen coffee, and ice cream are all fantastic. It's amazing!

The experience at the restaurant was overall positive. There were two employees working, one of whom appeared to be a trainer and the other an experienced worker. My companion became somewhat annoyed because the seasoned employee kept stopping to demonstrate tasks to the trainee. I didn't mind, as I understand the importance of training. We ordered banana crepes, which were delicious. Due to Covid restrictions, customers formed a line behind us, following the floor markers to maintain a safe distance of 6 feet. The employee was clearly busy with both training and attending to customers.

This business is a combination dunkin donuts and baskin-Robbins, be careful there's one employee who becomes offended when I asked him to put on his mask when preparing coffee for customers. I will never go there again. This store is located in Cicero, 16th Central Ave.

It was pretty good. There were 2 guys behind the counter and it appeared that one was a trainee and the other a seasoned worker. My partner kept getting irritated because the seasoned guy, who was waiting on us, kept having to stop to show the trainee how to perform different tasks. I get it, new guys have to learn. I didn't mind. We had banana splits. Yummy, and these were very good. Because of Covid the line that formed behind us were following the floor stickers that measured off 6 feet. That poor guy. Between showing the trainee how to do stuff and waiting on people, he was pretty busy!
