Papa's Place Churubusco

Ordered takeout and wait was reasonable. The food was great especially the pizza. The place seemed nostalgic with vintage decorations. They had a salad bar which looked fresh and lots of selections.

This was the absolute best Italian we have ever had. We tried a six different items and it was only 50 with tax. With as great as the food is and polite as the staff, this price is out of the world. If you're in Churubasco, this is a must stop in place! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

We had a good experience at this restaurant a week ago- fresh salad bar and baked spaghetti. Ordered spaghetti again this week but it was very dry, so asked our waitress, Gert, for extra spaghetti sauce. She first brought a small dish of sauce that was cold, so we asked for her to warm it up. Then after 10 minutes, she brought it back. When put on spaghetti we realized it was pizza sauce and ruined the meal. Unfortunately the manager was in the back throwing paper balls at his co-workers so didn't come to discuss the issue and we were charged for the uneditable food. Very disappointed, not necessarily the mistake, but how it was (wasn't) handled by the manager.
