This restaurant is a delightful surprise in South River. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean, and the decor is intriguing. I’ve tried several dishes, but honestly, the cappuccino is the standout. Definitely worth a visit! As for wheelchair accessibility, it’s not directly accessible due to the street, but the building itself is manageable.

We noticed a few Portuguese customers ordering traditional dishes, including a thick corn stew. I wish they would list more authentic foods for adventurous eaters like us who want to try new things. As we were leaving around 4:30, a group came in with guitars and mandolins—it looked like a gathering of folk musicians! I asked if they were having a hootenanny, and it turns out they were! Every other Saturday, they invite people to come together and play music. I’m definitely planning to return on April 1 for their next meetup, and I can't wait to enjoy another excellent cappuccino while I'm there. This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit!

Fantastic Brazilian food and pastries! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious. They serve the best Coxinha com Catupiry (chicken ball) and Kibbeh. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends in the Central area.

Having grown up in Newark, where there was a Brazilian restaurant on every corner, moving to South Amboy—where I couldn’t find any—was quite a change. I have to say, the food here is delicious! I’m so glad I discovered this place and will definitely be ordering from them more often. Thank you!

We were on the lookout for a local spot we hadn’t tried before and stumbled upon this hidden gem! The food was not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. Our server provided several excellent recommendations, and we’re so glad we followed his advice. The X-Chicken and X-Steak burgers were massive and well worth the price. The salgados were so tasty that we decided to order a few to take home as well—definitely try the chicken and cheese ones! The recommended acai strawberry smoothie was a perfect dessert drink and a wonderful way to wrap up a fantastic meal! We can’t wait to return and sample their pizzas in the future!
