Amazing museum. They have three floors worth of exhibits all wonderful featuring a mixture of different abstract art from different places and then tying it all in with Japanese culture. Every floor featured breathtaking art and only got better. They do have a few Picassos and Van Goghs in hand. Entrance price was reasonable and was able to secure a ticket by walking in on a Thursday afternoon. Bring your own headphones as they have an app that guides you through each art piece. You start on the highest floor and work your way down. The gift shop is on the second floor and they have lockers to store your stuff. They also have a cafe but sadly did not get to try as it appears to close early. Even if you’re not into abstract art this place is stunning and definitely worth the visit.

A great art museum located near the Tokyo station. The exhibition I saw was very high level and we had great time.

Great building, spacious well-lit galleries. There was one special exhibit on when I went (Dumb Type, reprising their installation from the Venice Biennale) which was excellently mounted, and a couple of exhibitions from the permanent collection, demonstrating the Museum's spectacular holdings of both Japanese and European art.
