We ordered both the sukiyaki and the shabu shabu. The tuna appetizers were surprisingly tasty and stole the show.
A perfect place for shabushabu and sukiyaki. Positioned comfortable for foreigners, but frequently visited by locals. Wine list is shortsit but good
The shabu-shabu was absolutely delicious and the server happily helped us through the process. highly recommend!
Never failed to impress. Excellent quality cuisine. A5 wagyu beef sukiyaki not in pictures. Too busy eating!
After pandemic gap, this place is up and running fully. The food has been consistently great, the service super, and it was so wonderful to be able to enjoy what has been the same for decades, once again. The lunch Shabushabu Set had everything in a reduced scale compared to the dinner, but it was still fantastic! If you don't like too much beef fat, you can request leaner beef, too, but for the full flavor of the great quality Japanese beef, try the marbled one as is. I don't eat beef (particularly marbled one) too often, but Shabushabu style cooking (of dipping a paper thin meat in boiling broth on the table) makes it less oily and it is also served with plenty of vegetables, along with two different types of dipping sauces so this is probably the healthiest and the most delicious way to enjoy marbled beef! This place will remain one of the top ten places that I want to visit every time when I'm in Tokyo. This restaurant is tucked in under a large building lower floor, off main Ginza Street, and I love this location for it's convenience (to subway, taxi, or ambling to nearby JR station) and unassuming atmosphere, but it still retains the old Japanese restaurant services, including servers in kimono, in an old restaurant ambiance.
