Farang Chumphon

A nice place but they shouldn't deliver what wasn't asked for. They have free wifi and also fans, to help keep you cool. I ordered a large Chang 85 Baht and a masaman curry.90 Baht. The masaman arrived with rice (which I hadn't asked for and so I assumed it was included in the price). The maaman was very good. I asked for the bill and I was told 190. I said no, 90 85 175 Baht. They said the rice wasn't included. I said I never ordered the rice. They eventually agreed 175 and then short changed me by 5 Baht. I don't mind if places say upfront would you like rice with that especially when it costs only 10 to 15 Baht but I don't like peope trying to rip me off. Please ask upfront next time. I would have given you 4 stars......

They will be reopened. the phone number has been updated. name slightly changed. previous owner became sick and they were closed for a few months. they were recently reopened under new management (one of the workers is now the owner.) eating is great and the situation is very convenient.

Great atmosphere with delicious food and drinks of all kinds. the personal is a very hospitable local family that makes it feel very comfortable. they also have very affordable rooms to rent.

Had a lovely meal here on a short stopover in Chumphon. The red curry was so tasty and a couple of beers. Friendly service lovely place.
