Mexicano Taco Shop - Chula Vista

The food was absolutely outstanding! It was incredibly delicious! I will definitely be returning!

I hate to write this review, but the quality has really deteriorated. I used to love coming here late at night with friends to enjoy some delicious tacos, but things have changed. I've visited three times recently, hoping it was just an off day, but unfortunately, it hasn't improved. Their carne asada tacos now taste like plastic, and the meat is overcooked and chopped too finely. The adobada was also undercooked on two of my last three visits. The people running the truck are fantastic, but sadly, the food just isn't what it used to be.

During my visit to "Little Messi's Taco Truck," I had a disappointing experience with the service. They charged me $41 for 8 tacos, and the quality of the meat was subpar, as I ended up chewing on mostly fat. The adobada had a nice flavor, but overall, I found the prices at this truck to be quite high, and I don't think I'll be returning.

Honestly their tacos are perfection. The meat is juicy but not greasy. The tomato salsa is just right and the guys working the truck are very chill. Can’t beat a $2.25 taco with this level of perfection! Trust.

Great food. I just wish I remembered the name of the truck.
