La Taquiza - Chula Vista

I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff had a terrible attitude, making us feel as if we were asking for free tacos, even though we were paying customers.

The experience was extremely disappointing. They shouldn't even be in business. The portions of food were very stingy, offering only three tacos at a time. That doesn't qualify as a proper taco feast. It's just frustrating. I wouldn't recommend hiring them at all; their approach to food service is very questionable. What's the point of a catering service if they’re going to skimp on the portions?

I had a very disappointing experience with this catering service. One of the staff members had a really poor attitude, which was off-putting. The food lacked flavor and I wouldn't recommend it at all. It's absurd to have just one cook for 50 or 60 people. The meat ended up burning on the grill, and overall, the service was terrible.

Based on a party that I went to over the weekend, I would not recommend this company. My friend who hosted the party, ordered and paid about $2,500 for 150 people. About 75 people were at the party but, she wanted the extra food for the next day as she had family in town. Most of those people at the party were pre-fed with food before La Taquiza even showed up. During my conversations at the party, many commented how they weren't even hungry because they ate so much before so, I'm sure most didn't eat much. I arrived later in the day so, personally I ate 3 tacos which which did not have a lot of meat. I also had a tiny bit of beans and no rice. The reason I would not recommend is because of the amount of food that was leftover. There's NO POSSIBLE WAY that the 75 people at the party ate more than 2-3 tacos a person. Next, there was very little food left which means one thing; they did not come with enough food for 150 people. Finally, my friend paid almost $17.00pp which is sort of a lot if the average person eats just two small tacos. Find another place to give business to because this business isn't very honest.

Had a delicious Taco Tuesday in the comfort of home! Great taste and amazing service!
