Penzion Bílá Vrána - Chrudim

Unfortunately, they stopped cooking... and stopped serving breakfast... Even though they promised a kettle with cups in the room for us to make coffee in the morning, we received nothing. However, the price-to-quality ratio for accommodation during the Velká Pardubická is still truly luxurious... It’s just that the original charm has simply vanished.

On November 1, 2016, the restaurant is reportedly closed. I couldn't find any mention of it on the website.

In my opinion, food is lowered. My trout was about a lot of time and I imagine it at the price other than black as a helmet.

This is a very pleasant pub with a guesthouse, located just a short distance from the Pardubice racetrack. The breakfast omelets are excellent. In the evening, the popular dishes include the "Elephant Ear" schnitzels and the fantastic halušky. The homemade potato pancakes pair wonderfully with beer. They also have a decent selection of steaks. The beer is outstanding, featuring the Bernard eleven and a rotating selection from smaller breweries. The accommodation is satisfactory.

The owner is quite a character and can be pretty straightforward, so if you step out of line, you might get a cheeky response! :D :D :D But once you get to know her better, you'll find she's a very kind lady who will do everything she can for you. The food is decent, the beer is well cared for—it's Bernard, I believe—and you can enjoy hearty breakfasts. If you ask in the evening, they’ll even whip up some hangover borscht for you! The wine selection is quite nice too. The place has a rock vibe, with photos on the walls ranging from Led Zeppelin to Michal Pavlíček. They do have Wi-Fi, but don't expect a rock festival atmosphere. We stay there every year during the Velká pardubická and are very satisfied. There's a large, well, huge park next door that's part of the spa, perfect for running. If you're heading to Pardubice, I highly recommend it. Lázně Bohdaneč is essentially a suburb, just a short taxi ride away. I wouldn't swap staying in Pardubice for anything!
