The Anchorage - Christchurch

I had coffee here this morning along with some delicious pastries from their pop-up stand. The hotel is fantastic, with amazing ambiance. The staff is friendly and genuinely caring. It feels like a welcoming place. I'm definitely going to make this my regular café. They also use "Happy Cow" milk, which is a great bonus. Highly recommend!

I visited The Anchorage because they sponsored the Ministry of Awesome's Coffee Jam. The Doubt Shot espresso was fantastic—rich and full-bodied with a smooth, buttery finish. Even though I finished it cold, it was still a delight to drink. I had a great conversation with Crumble and Matt, and once again, the exquisite filter coffee was worth every penny.

Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and excellent cappuccino! The scones are delightful too! I really enjoy the aroma of freshly roasted coffee, the lush green plants, and the large garage door that gives the feeling of being outdoors.
