Hanoi Old Quarter - Christchurch

I was blown away by the flavors on my first visit and have never been disappointed since. I always order the chicken soup with rice noodles and fresh spring rolls. The soup is incredibly tasty, clear, and perfectly balanced. The chicken is tender and topped with slices of ginger, and the bean sprouts are a nice touch as well.

Absolutely amazing food. I tried many asian restaurants/take aways and this one was very generous portion. Fresh and tasty food wih a balanced level of spices. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.

Nice wee place in the Ent X food Court. I tried the pork bahn mi and prawn summer rolls. The bahn mi was pretty good, plenty of pork and delicious too, could have done with a few more pickles and a bit more sauce but the pâte was a nice touch. The summer rolls were nice too, not outstanding but good food and price isn't too bad either! Overall a good experience

We had a wonderful meal here. The chicken noodle soup was served in a generous portion and was both flavorful and comforting. I recommend adding a good dash of white pepper and a squeeze of lemon for an extra kick; you can find these condiments where you pick up your food. The prawn fried rice was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed Pepsi and ginger beer for $4 each. The summer rolls were refreshing but seemed a bit bland to me after the rich soup. We also received two chocolate pralines with our order, which was a lovely surprise.
