C1 Espresso - Christchurch

Saw this place on internet, decide to come here more to see the concept and the building. Quite unique place here. We had their colour changing iced tea, some in house kombucha and a cabinet sausage roll. Everything was pretty ok, not outstanding.

Fantastic food! Great options for those with dietary requirements. The banana bread was so good we went back a second day for it!

Love the quirkiness of this cafe has a Harry Potter feel to it with a sliding book case and water fountain features. The cabinet food is always the best looks very impressive and my usual go to. Today was menu choice and was also expecting a hit however it was a big miss. Had the chicken burger, which for me was disappointing and way over priced for what I got. Curly fries I received none no curls just half broken rings. Compared with my friends nachos which was excellently presented. Loved the tube to add a different experience to food delivery but not the best for the burger. Would also suggest a arrow point up on the tubes as I along with observed others had difficulty extracting the food, as we didnt know how to open the tube, and we also had no idea our food was in the tube so maybe a table buzzer might help. Tubes also placed close to tables where others were eating is not ideal. Drinks as always excellent. Children had table service for their fluffies. Great theatrics. Staff as always pleasant, polite and friendly.

Love how quirky this place is. Loved the pneumatic tube delivery. The iced choc is amazing. Love the bookshelf door to the decorated toilet aisle and the harry potter audiobook while on the toilet. Great outing. Loved it
