The Travellers Rest - Chorley

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent with generous portions at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for home-cooked meals rather than pre-packaged options, this is the place to be! I had the meat lasagna, which was delightful, accompanied by garlic bread and a salad. My friend ordered the "drunken pot," and you could really tell that the meat was slow-cooked to perfection—so tender! It was served with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a sweet side. We had a fantastic time! This place is a must-visit for everyone!

I visited the restaurant last night for dinner with my son. The staff was friendly and very attentive, and we were seated right away. We both enjoyed a three-course meal, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the steak pudding and the fish and chips. We will definitely be back!

I had my baby shower here, and it was an amazing experience! The staff and the owner were wonderful. We were able to drop off decorations, balloons, and the cake the night before, and the staff set everything up for us. The room looked absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much, ladies! I highly recommend this place!

That was the second year when we had Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and yet again we had a fabulous meal. the food was absolutely delicious and the service was super, very friendly and nothing was too much annoyed for the workers who went beyond and beyond to help me how I had a badly broken ankle. a great thank you to all staff for a very pleasant experience. I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite pub restaurant and would recommend it to everyone.

We went for a meal about 4 weeks ago for my dad's 80th birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for my birthday yesterday. The staff are friendly, kind and considerate. The food is excellent. We had a variety of food, from pizza to sirloin steak. I would recommend it all. Perhaps a few extra choices on dessert?
