Have never eaten here, but only ever heard positive feed back. Cousins birthday, I do not live in the area so rang to order some bottles of bubbles for the table. Only writing this as experience was very upsetting and I am still shocked. I spoke with a lady, explained cousin having birthday dinner (I did get name wrong that table was ordered under) so wanted to make sure was correct table. She said I was loud and shouting. I have a loud voice (nodules on voice box). But its also naturally loud as well. I do not raise my voice, it is not my style also my voice loud enough. It doesnt need raising. We finally worked out correct table, I then thought she had gone to get payment machine. But she just hung up. So I called back, another waitress answered. I explained previous call and again asked if I could pay over phone for bottles of bubbles. I was asked to wait a moment whilst she fetched the machine. Whilst I waited I had to listen to what herself and the first waitress were saying about me. Won 't lie, it was very upsetting and I 'm quite a tough cookie. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional as well as hurtful. When she came back on phone I politely told her I heard all their conversation, she went quiet and apologised then asked if still wanted the bubbles. I politely replied 'I don 't think so '. Not sure what to take away from this experience. At least cover phone or put on hold if your going to talk badly about someone who wishes to spend money whom you have never met............

Been coming here for years, on various evenings including Mondays, Saturday evenings the odd week night, but the last few times the food hasn't been as good, it's like they are using cheaper ingredients, I've had most of the menu aswell, Garlic breads have been burnt, hardly any cheese on them, Calazone just tasted of onions peppers with a watery tomato sauce, my lasagne I had the last few times was tasteless I've had better pizzas from a takeaway, yes you pay for what you get, seen lots of staff come go over the years, now how can you call this an Italian when not one single Italian actually works there, they are all Hungarian, so to me it isn't an authentic Italian restaurant like it used to be years years ago, also for anybody visiting, please do not give staff tips as the management seems to keep them, I only got told this from a member of staff, so my overall impression is I won't be rushing back in a hurry. Sorry Papas but I'm just giving my honest opinion on my last few visits what I've experienced

Great place for a get-together or a family meal. Food fantastic, what more could you ask for.

This has been one of my local restaurants since I have lived in the area (forever). It has always kept up its reputation of a lovely Italian restaurant perfect for birthdays and celebrations. I visited this weekend for an evening meal and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were lovely and provided a great service and the food was very tasty, with generous portions. My niece is a vegetarian and has quite a limited diet, they were happy to provide to a simple spaghetti Napoli and do have a note on the menu highlighting the veggie and vegan options are available. They have a lot of midweek deals on at great prices so I would recommend going in the week.
