I decided to dine at this restaurant based on previous reviews, and I was not disappointed. Having been to many vegetarian restaurants in China, I can confidently say that this is one of the best! The interior is minimalistic, yet elegant, with picturesque views of the Yangtze River. The service was excellent, with refreshing watermelon and water offered upon arrival, and attentive staff throughout the meal. I ordered three dishes along with baozi. The eggplant dish (pictured) was mouthwatering, as was the tofu soup, and the vegetables were expertly prepared. I appreciated the thoughtful presentation and found the prices to be fair. While the menu is entirely in Chinese, there are a few pictures provided to help with ordering.
This restaurant is located in a large shopping mall (5F) making it easy to find. The entrance, designed to look like a human ear, is made of bamboo and leads you into an exquisite atmosphere. The setting is bright and elegant with attentive staff who clean up after you and provide wooden chopsticks. The food is of high quality and presentation is carefully done. We ordered 5 courses and spent only 90rmb each. The only drawback is that ordering from the menu might be difficult if you don't speak Chinese, as it is only in non-simplified Chinese without pictures.
