Delicious food, friendly service. Could do with a little more choice on the menu.

We had a wonderful dinner at this high-end pub! We sampled the roasted cauliflower and cheddar curds, and ended the night with a delightful trifle.

Fantastic country pub with amazing food. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is cozy.

Every pub is allowed to have an off day. It happens. The only problem is when their off day is your first day there. I wanted to like the pub but I thought the ambience, service and food were all off. The chicken pie was dreadful. The steak came with watercress that had been cooked to death, and the service -well, Im assuming the A team was off training. Not running back, I'm afraid.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the service was excellent. However, we were disappointed with the chili we ordered as it lacked any heat or spice. It tasted more like a ragu sauce for pasta.
