Kalaveras Chino Hills

We ordered tacos el gobernador, steak salteado, and some drinks, all of which were delicious. We also had chips and salsa on the side. The waitstaff was polite at all times.

Ambiance was fun! Servers were super friendly! And the music is great! The lighting is really cool. The prices are a bit high but the food did deliver. I think previous reviews about loud music do not make sense as there are so many clear indicators that this is a cantina and not a Mimi?s Cafe. Great date spot!

We went for happy hour and were pleased with the food and the value for the price. Unfortunately, the service fell short, and it wasn't due to a busy crowd. Usually, we’re understanding of servers during hectic times, but the place wasn't crowded, so I’m not sure what went wrong. We’ll give it another try in hopes of having a better experience with the service next time.
