Visited for tea and cakes and prosecco) listened to So Sinatra Very nice afternoon.
My wife and I recently found this restaurant on Bookable. We lived locally and wasn’t aware it even existed; we were not disappointed. We were greeted at the bar by smiley Waitress and offered a cocktail of the cocktail menu. They have just launched the Spring menu which looked really appetizing.I went for the salmon and the Lamb and my husband Risotto balls and the Hake, the food was well seasoned and very tasty.Just before we had finished the Chef came out and chatted to the tables which was nice, Barry or Baz as he asked to be called even told us he previously worked on the set of James Bond! After dinner we relaxed in the Bar, it was quiet but so cozy.We will return for our next date night.
Excellent eating in the location of a retired village.
Very upward and downward review for a very mixed evening meal. they cling in and set themselves up for this one. the servicequiet initially disappointed how to get on a good meal in what should be a good restaurant. Although there were only three tables, we had to track our drinks orders and track them down more quickly. it turned out that on Saturday only three house personnel were in front! I think two of them were not old enough to drink and the others hardly. they were clearly above their head, but on their credit their initial look panic each time I followed an order that turned into dogmatic rest when they were hurling around as best they could lack of experience and short handiness. the foodgreat! I was worried at the time, of course. no personal and children who build the bar! how will the kitchen look? fortunately, the kitchen has been very good eating in a timely manner. it was enough to relax our party and enjoy the tee ingenious from a pot to shake on the floor, as the waiter rushed with a pot under a downward angle. Excellent steak, cooked as we asked, good chips and an excellent Eton fair that could feed the 5000. the other guests when the story ended, everything would be in order. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to have parked ignorantly in a retired house. the other guests have visited near and often the restaurant. this leads to an Octagenarian pair to be angry with our table. we had an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old and two babys. the couple obviously could not treat so many youthful who scream to them rude dinge, and accused us not to be able to control children and claim to have spoiled their evening. I would mention that we were there first and it was quietly empty in there, so any amount of talkesseln could have gone further. the unfortunate rest was that he was almost ruined all night. we suspect that the restaurant wants to visit it, but perhaps the people in the Victorian annoy that they may have to suffer laughing close, warn and that children are now coming to meal, locked in opposite to in closets. the staff has worked very well to calm down all that I have to add.
