Sycamore On The Hill - Chiltern

We decided to stop by for breakfast and were impressed by the excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. The Shakshouka we ordered was absolutely amazing!

I went to this restaurant with three friends for a meeting. Our order was taken by an efficient staff member and the service was very quick. The atmosphere inside was bright and airy, with minimal but effective interior decoration. We all had positive comments about the quality of the drinks. One of us had a meal that looked very good. This is a local independent restaurant that definitely deserves another visit. It is certainly better than the chain outlets in Amersham.

I had heard great things about this cafe for breakfast, but was ultimately disappointed. Everything came out late, and we had to ask for the fourth coffee and breakfast. The food was okay, with the poached egg being the highlight. It would have been nice to eat everything together. The staff did offer us free cake, which was a kind gesture, but we were really just hoping for a good breakfast experience together.

A really lovely brunch today at the Sycamore. The space is lovely and light, and we had a really warm welcome from the friendly staff. The food was just gorgeous the full breakfast ciabatta will keep my husband going till supper time! My granola was yummy (and smugly healthy! . We will definitely be back. Thanks for a fab breakfast.

We visited for lunch twice in two weeks. On both occasions the front of house service was excellent, the choice of food was really interesting, and the drinks were excellent. When the food came it was hot, very well presented indeed and delicious. Unfortunately on one occasion we were given entirely the wrong food but we did not know this because we did not know how it would be presented. They apologised and it was no problem but we felt bad for the people whose food we ate and thus had to wait longer.
