Moonlily Restaurant - Chilliwack

I must start off by saying, I recently went on a trip and tried chinese food in Seachelt. It was notgood there at all and made me think of how wonderful Moonlily is and miss home!So Moonlily is not greasy food, the dishes are full of flavour, the meat trimmed great for the boneless pork dishes. You wont be picking through and cutting off pieces of fat. Such a relief. The sweet&sour boneless pork melts in the mouth and is just the best. I notice how small the restaurant is and I respect the wait time when it is longer. They must be working hard back there!Oh definitely NOT a fast food joint. But a sit-in restaurant. I recommend trying different things. I do not complain with the time if I ever have to wait and nobody else should for that matter or harass the workers about it. I've seen some people treat the staff terribly at times when coming in to order. I don't like seeing this, I think people need to examine their attitudes, swallow their pride, take a walk and read a book then come back to Moonlily to pickup their food and enjoy a wonderful dinner in peace. Not especially noteworthy, about average. The service was quick considering the size of the group. Three out of the eight people served decided that they would not go return.

I was sceptical about ordering for delivery after reading past reviews on trip advisor and other sites.. I'm so glad that I decided to try.They answered on the second ring and the young lady that took my information was extremely friendly and helpful. I placed my order and the food arrived as promised. 38 minutes after my placing the call.Now to the important part. ..The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection and plentiful. No skimping on any of the ingredients. Do yourself a favor and order the dry garlic ribs... simply yum.

Moonlit has been our go to Chinese restaurant in Chilliwack for about 7 years, we don't order from anywhere else. Their dinner for 4 is really good, that's our usual order. If you get a chance make sure to try their szechuan chicken, amazing, one of my favorite dishes anywhere.

This is not traditional Chinese food it's more western style I'm not saying anything bad about it either we got our take out brought home and enjoyed it. It's hard to find good Chinese food in the Chilliwack area I will be a repeat costumer when I feel the need for this kinda food. Best part is you receive 10% off you bill for take out.
