The Rangers Reserve - Chilkiya Range

We booked The Rangers Reserve through Star Inn Suites and Retreats Ltd. While the property was pretty and surround by forests on three sides, the food was poor. Considering that they were asking for a compulsory prepayment of 2400 per day per person for the food, the buffet was dhaba style. Totally unappetising and basic. Secondly , the approach road was terrible and we were apprehensive of wrecking the car tyres driving on it. We felt that we should have been warned about this by the management and been driven up that particular stretch in the hotel vehicle. Thirdly, I feel that once the booking was done, we should have got a call asking if we needed any assistance with booking of safari. As anyone going to Jim Corbett will be going specifically for safari. We did not know that the safari needs to be prebooked many days earlier. Lastly, there is an absence of senior management staff, least to unprofessional management of the hotel.

It is a very good resort in mind blowing location. Surrounded with nature where you get fresh air, beautiful view or tress and mountains. It is totally a relax destination nothing else. Just forget about everything and stay here peacefully. Food options are less but food is good. There might be network problem even jio sometimes not good but you’ll get wifi in the hotel but that too may gives headache but why bother just sit and relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
