Yeee! lol I have half a hen n steak burrito with salsa verde in side! the tenderness 5 stars! the aromen 5 stars it was amazing for me! many thanks! I'm in oroville, so there's okay staining, but nothing like this great tasting place!

Been thinking about a taquito burrito for the last 8 years. Finally visited Chico again and made sure to stop and get one. The place is funky, simple, but the food is amazing. Made fresh to order. Would this taquito burrito be as good as it was 8 years ago? Yes!! Delicious!!

They offer a wide variety of tacos, all of which are delicious. I usually order three or four different tacos along with a bean and cheese burrito to enjoy the next day.

I had the nachos, and they were the best I've ever had! They even came in a paper takeout box, which made me really happy. The staff was also very friendly!

For lunch, we ordered the combo nachos and two hard-shell tacos. The nachos were topped with two meat choices; I went for the puerco colorado, which was rich, flavorful, and generously sauced over the chips. It was then piled high with salad, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, and jalapeños. The serving was substantial—definitely over 3 pounds—and far too much to finish in one sitting. The tacos were straightforward yet satisfying, featuring a simple filling of lettuce, tomato, and a red sauce in a crispy shell. However, the standout was the meat, perfectly shredded and delicately spiced, providing a delightful burst of flavor. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. It’s impressive for a restaurant to remain in business for so long without mastering their craft, and they have certainly done just that. This consistency is just one reason I’ve been a loyal customer for so long. There’s only one small downside—don’t share this gem with too many people! Try this place at least once, order your favorite dish, and experience it for yourself. Tacos Mari is undoubtedly in the top 5-10% of restaurants in the city. Now you know!
