Malacopa's Motorcycle

Often pop into Malacopas for a quick refresh. Good choice of drinks including milkshakes, tea, coffee and they always come with a snack .... which has always been very yummy. Bar or table service for food, which we have always found to be very tasty. There is free parking at the rear of Malacopas but it fills up quite quickly. Saying that there is ample parking out front. There are also a few TV's dotted around which play football, racing and general sporting events. A good venue for all singles, couples, groups, families etc. Staff friendly, atmosphere relaxed just a good all rounder for a local bar/venta

Malacopas is a fabulous tapas bar off the main area of La Barrosa always friendly lively with a great menu, good selection of wines, excellent atmosphere. We go there often. We live nearby. However, today was an exception I hope an isolated occasion. Terrible service. Our drinks order took 15 minutes to be taken another 15 for the drinks to arrive after I reminded them. We ordered one food dish 45 minutes later, no sign of it. Other tables had filled, ordered, eaten. But we noticed chaos amongst the staff, wrong orders, wrong food to a table so on. Eventually they admitted they had made a mistake. We left without eating having sat for 1.45 minutes. This bar has recently reopened following a refit. Surely this should equate to better service too. We shall return but with hope not certainty!!!! A shame.
