The Pier Fish And Chips Bognor Regis

We went to the restaurant on Monday at noon and were disappointed to find that loud hip hop music was playing, which didn't fit the atmosphere, time of day, or setting. The haddock was frozen and very dry, with a tasteless batter. It was the worst fish and chips we've ever had. The prices were high and the overall experience was odd. We recommend going somewhere else for food.

Fish wasn't as fresh as you’d hope and was very chewy and dry. Batter was soggy underneath and very greasy. Chips not nice because I suspect the whole lot had probably been kept warm for quite some time. Not many places to eat near the pier but would go without rather than eat any food from there again.

I'm not sure what was worse the young girl who served me with an attitude and basically threw my food on the counter at me Or the absolute disgusting food they served us.. Chips had been fried a good 3 or 4 times they resembled Pork Scratchings. The seagulls eat more than we did £30 down the drain!

Fab fish chips! Clean friendly service. Reasonable price. You can takeaway or sit in. A lovely traditional meal at the seaside. Thank you!

I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews before eating from here. After spending the day out, we were looking forward to traditional fish and chips while admiring the sea view. We put in our order, only had to wait about 10 mins (but two of our kids ordered chicken nuggets) so was a made to order meal. This has to be the best fish and chips we have had in a long long time I normally order a pie and chips since I’m not that keen on our local cod and chips, but since it wasn’t on offer I went for the meal deal of two cod and regular chips for husband and I. When it came out and the server put a cod and chips in the box and asked what I wanted on it, I said “no it should have two pieces of cod to share In the box, she said “no you get it in two boxes” so we each had one box of food and so much to eat and such good value. My family of 5 meal was £27, our friends also ate here and also said was the best fish and chips they had in such a long time. Great finish to a great day!
