New Street Grill - Chichester

I dined at E Street 6 months ago and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, with a large number of staff on hand. The menu had a wonderful Italian theme, and we felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. However, when I returned on September 23, I found that the menu had changed to offer fewer options. While the food was still tasty, the service was slow and the overall atmosphere seemed more low-end than during our initial visit. It appeared that there were not enough staff, especially in the kitchen. While I enjoyed my first visit, if this is the new normal, then the quality does not match the price and I would not go back. I would not recommend it.

The food, wine, and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent. Whether you're stopping in for a full meal or just a quick drink or coffee, Philippe and his team will welcome you warmly. I have lived in the area for over 10 years and have seen many changes in Petworth, but E Street is one of the best and most celebrated. I highly recommend this venue to everyone. You can expect a warm welcome, delicious food, and the famous Sussex hospitality. I can't wait for my next visit. - Alasdair (and the Sacred Heart group)

Beautiful restaurant, with such friendly staff. They were all very welcoming and had us laughing whilst having lunch/dinner. Would definitely recommend, the food is amazing!

Another fantastic meal at E Street Bar Grill it’s like a little piece of London in West Sussex. The room was buzzing, the food and service were fab.

It was an absolute pleasure to call at E.Street Bar Grill Petworth after some time away. I was welcomed by Manager Philippe and enjoyed refreshment in the nice patio garden while awaiting my wife for lunch. We received excellent service from Anthony with a superb menu of the day... our compliments to the Chef. Thank you all very much... and we look forward to our next visit.
