Uptown Pho - Chicago

Our first dining experience at a Vietnamese restaurant was a success at Uptown Pho. We were delighted by the delicious food, from the crepes to the banh mi sandwich, and ending with the steak and meatball pho. As newcomers to Vietnamese cuisine, the staff at Uptown Pho provided us with guidance and assistance in choosing our dishes. We left feeling confident in our new culinary discovery and would recommend Uptown Pho to anyone looking to explore Vietnamese food.

I was drawn to this restaurant by a groupon and it was definitely worth it. I believe the owner served us and he was charming and fantastic. He recommended some great dishes (his favorites were amazing). The traditional unfried spring rolls they made were incredibly fresh. I am looking forward to returning!

This is such a lovely joint. I work in an office about 5 minutes away so I really enjoy getting pick up from here. My coworkers and I always get either vermicelli, bun bo hue, or bun rieu to share. They always make sure to pack the correct number of utensils when I tell them I'm sharing. Today I called to make my usual order of Bun Bo Hue. I mentioned I was sharing with a friend and if they can give me an empty bowl on the side to split the soup. Turns out, they already split my soup for me into two bowls. The food tastes amazing but nothing compared to the hospitality. Highly highly recommend them if you are around here or even visiting.

Vietnamese food and the setting here is very good. The food was tasty. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. Bring your hunger portions are generous. I see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It has only been open for a year at the time of my visit, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the bun bo hue, which was both spicy and flavorful. I would definitely recommend it.
