The Capital Grille Chicago Downtown

I always look forward to dining at this Capital Grille location on St. Clair in Chicago. I live in Lakeview and try to dine here at least once a month with friends. The variety of steak, seafood, and poultry is always cooked perfectly. The staff always provides the best dining experience in Chicago. And this time was no exception. We decided to go on a Monday instead of a Wed-Sun night. Restaurants sometimes put their less experienced staff on a Monday or Tuesday night, but not Capital Grille on St. Clair. Blake waited on us and she was amazing! We had a pleasant conversation and she made the dining experience extra nice. We can 't wait to return on a Monday night. Oh, and Blake must have been a good luck charm because when she "would like like to hear about our specials ' we said yes but let her know we think we know them. And then she shocked us by saying that one of the specials was the off-the-menu Bone-in Filet. We couldn 't believe our ears. It has been at least two years since this location had this offering and we have been asking for it every time except this one. We both ordered it and it was perfectly cooked. I use this restaurant as the benchmark for any fine dining experience I have. I dine out at least five nights a week and I can honestly say none of them match up to Capital Grille in many areas. Thank you for all you do! Thank you Capital Staff and Management!

The service at this restaurant was exceptional, and the food was excellent. Our server, Hayley O'Toole, was awesome - she was helpful, accommodating, pleasant, and extremely professional. Despite servicing four additional tables in our area, our party of six received flawless service. We will definitely be returning.
