El Taco Azteca is so good! The name hasn't changed yet on the outside, but don't be fooled, they have the same menu as their restaurant in pilsen. Not only does the food look beautiful, it tastes just as good as it looks! We got the pork belly guacamole, of course the Coca-Cola tacos to impress our mother-in-law from out of town, and I got the Creole potato vegetarian tacos. All of their tacos are layered with so much flavor! A lot of different textures too which I always appreciate about them. Also, handmade tortillas. My favorite was the shrimp empanadas! Great food but some dishes are better than others. Strong tortas and empanadas. Do NOT order the burrito very underwhelming
A classic, cheap Chicago Mexican joint that takes the time to plate their food.
