Taqueria La Hacienda - Chicago

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I opted for takeout. Wow, the food was outstanding! The rice and beans tasted incredibly fresh, which I really appreciated. The meat in my torta was delicious, and I loved how it was sliced—no cubed carne asada here! The green salsa was also very flavorful. I enjoyed the horchata too and can't wait to try other drinks on my next visit. The service over the phone was quick and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Typically, the restaurant isn't too busy for dining in. They do receive a high volume of takeout orders, which can result in slightly slower service. However, our server did an excellent job of bringing out chips, salsa, drinks, and food for multiple tables. I highly recommend trying their chorizo, as they prepared it quite well.

The food is fantastic, and on Saturdays they have something special—so we will definitely be back next Saturday!

Had a craving for some gorditas and came across this place and honestly if you want some gorditas don’t even bother with this place because the gorditas were basically a taco just different tortilla. It only comes with the meat of choice and cilantro and onion, that’s it. The only plus about this place is their meat is very soft it taste like arrachera. But I wouldn’t go back to this place.

The servers are kind and attentive, the food comes out fairly quickly and everything is a reasonable price. The Carne asada is great and so is the al pastor, worth the trip.
