Taqueria El Dorado - Chicago

I have been checking out all the taquerias within walking distance from my home, hoping to try them all, explore my options, and maybe discover something extraordinary. Today, I visited Taqueria El Dorado #2 on Lawrence and Kedzie, and I was really impressed with their tacos. From my very first visit, I was blown away—I even took the time to write a Yelp review. Their homemade tortillas, spit-roasted pastor, and steak grilled over charcoal were all fantastic. They even included taco accompaniments—like limes, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, and radishes—without me even asking. I’ve heard that El Dorado #1 is in Rogers Park, but if you’re in Albany Park or passing by, do yourself a favor and grab a taco! They prepare them quickly too. I know I’ll be returning soon!
