Silver Spoon Thai - Chicago

During our first visit to Chicago, we were in search of a nice dinner spot near our hotel when my husband found this charming restaurant online. Although it's a small establishment, it's incredibly cozy and impeccably clean. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of Thai dishes. We tried Thai tea, Hor-mok fish wrapped in banana leaves, Tom Yum shrimp, Laab duck, Sai-ua Northern Thai sausage, Yum Woon Sen, beef noodles, and fried chicken—all were delicious and reminded us of home! My husband and I truly enjoyed our time at this lovely place.

It's our first time in Chicago, we were looking for a good supper place near our hotel, and my husband stumbled upon this place online. It's a small place, but it's very cozy and clean. Food was amazing and service was exceptional! Everyone was super nice and kind. They also have wide selections of Thai dishes. We ordered Thai tea, Hor-mok fish in banana leaf, Tom-yum shrimp, Laab duck, Sai-ua Northern Thai sausage, Yum-woon-sen, beef noodle, and fried chicken, they were all scrumptious and taste like home! My husband and I had a great time at this place.

The Place is a hidden gem! Great food and friendly staff. Worth to visit for their Lunch Special and their delicious meal and thai tea! 5 stars!

Very yummy Thai food. We went at a time marked not too busy but it was. We sat and waited a long time to get our order taken. We were about to leave when they finally came to take it. However, they brought the food out quickly, delicious, and made to order. Have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Good level of spiciness. (We were all panting and sweating a bit at the medium, but no problem with mild, which is how it should be). Overall, the delicious food, and being able to get some things without fish sauce, made up for the wait.
