Red Eyes Cafe - Chicago

The coffee is good, the atmosphere is cozy, and the woman behind the counter was quite friendly! I chose to sit outside since the air conditioning wasn't on (even in August!). However, I'm sure it would be nice in the winter.

The atmosphere is ideal for concentrating on work or enjoying a good book. The menu offers a wide variety of options. I ordered a pomegranate iced tea and a turkey sandwich, and both were delicious! It was quite slow when I visited in the afternoon, and the owner kindly asked if I would mind them closing early. I told her it was no problem, as I only planned to stay for a couple of hours. It's a charming spot, and I look forward to returning!

Wonderful, small, cozy coffee shop and cafe owned by a very kind Vietnamese couple. It felt like spending a quiet, cozy afternoon at a kind aunt and uncle's house. Decor is very quaint and antique. coffee was wonderful, especially just a solo espresso shot. Whenever I'm back in the neighborhood I hope to stop by! Please give them a visit! Please note, the service is not Starbucks fast, nor should it be expected to be. It is a small, independently ran shop. it is a place to sit and relax more than a fast-food, fast-paced type coffee joint like starbucks or even La Colombe. Expect old school vibes and Vietnamese coffee.

Excellent prices, a wide range of options, and a fantastic atmosphere. They offer WiFi, printing services, and board games. I highly recommend it!
