Pump Room-Public Hotel - Chicago

Mediocre at best. Service started great but fell off. Neither one of us loved our food and my steak came out undercooked. Sooner with tip was 150 so anything Les than amazing doesn't warrant a second trip

All of the food since its first day has been excellent. The staff is wonderful and remember us since we live in the neighborhood. The drinks are crafted properly and they carry my favorite tea, Rare Tea Cellars. The desserts are so wonderful. You can't go wrong picking any one of them. Andrew was our server and was excellent!!! Unfortunately, Booth One will be closing at the end of June, 2019. We will miss it, as it is one of the few restaurants in our area and it is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, bringing its reputation and great food.

The service at this restaurant is always excellent. The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly without being overbearing. I do wish they had a live jazz trio like they used to have in the Pump Room days. It would add to the ambiance. The only suggestion I have is to add sheers around the sunken dining area to make it more private from the bar. Overall, a very nice experience.

We will miss Booth One and hope that Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises will open another one of their fantastic restaurants in our area!
