Nori Sushi Chicago

Forgot to post this on Wednesday night. Me and a best friend went there for dinner. It is his 1st time there I've been there before. The restaurant is small and it's fine. You can see the chefs making the sushi. The music was low but you can still hear it. For starters we had drinks. I had the pomegranate martini. My friend had the mango margarita. Both drinks were amazing. Then he had a Japanese beer. We order edamame as a starter. The main course we both ordered is Boston Maki (Tuna and Avocado) it was amazing. He orders the Fire Dragon Maki (Tempura Shrimp, Avacado Wrapped w/tuna and topped w/spicy shrimp, scallions, and sweet sauce). I order Dragon Mski (Tempura Shrimp, topped w/unagi, avocado, and unagi sauce without the mayo). The chef's special was Toro (Fatty Tuna). The service was great. Our server was nice and friendly. For sure we will be back.

Came here for dinner last week Thursday and I was very disappointed. The sushi, ramen, and dumplings were just mediocre. However, what really disappointed and disgusted me was that a huge cockroach was walking on the booth I was sitting on! I called our waitress over to tell her there was a huge roach right next to me while pointing on the booth I was sitting on. She pretended at first to look at the table and say that's just a stain in the wood.I told her not the table and to look at where my finger was pointing. She just grabbed a napkin, grabbed it, and walked away. She came back to collect the check and that was it. I forcefully paid and left out of there with my skin crawling in disgust! I would never go back again.

Came here for dinner and the food quality was great! The drinks were amazing. I ordered the Ramen and it was really good but small. My server was great and our food had been taking a while to come. He had realized this as well and offered me a complimentary drink which was really nice.

We are definitely coming back my good long time friend Pat inviting me to experience her restaurant. Do to COVID restrictions and shut down it was not possible. Now that my husband and I felt more comfortable we come to try all her delicious plates. We had two tables filled with such amazing and delicious food. I will invite all my family and close friends and clients to experience the high quality of service and hospitality. Beautiful ambiance and delicious cocktails.
