Nando's Peri-peri - Chicago

Nando?s always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic music is upbeat and the Randolph team recognizes loyal customers. Thank you Shira for personally greeting me on every visit. For Carb counters this place is paradise! Protein and veggies galoreawait in a multitude of pairing options. The sauces are flavorful without the added sugar! Feel full and energized withoutexceeding your carb count! Way to go Nando?s West Loop!

Located close to the green/pink line Morgan stop, This restaurant has the best fries! Love them alot! They have several different locations and this West Loop location is right in the middle of it all. I usually get the boneless chicken thighswith mango lime sauce. They also have good rice, coleslaw, garlic bread and of course the FRIES!!!

I grabbed these for lunch, and I was really impressed! The wings were fantastic, bursting with flavor, and the Brussels sprouts were seasoned and cooked to perfection!

I tried the sweet potato sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Having visited Nando's several times in London, I was thrilled to discover one right next to my hotel during my work trip to Chicago. The sandwich was fantastic, and I loved their sauces as well. The ambiance was enjoyable, but the service was a bit off. They have a contactless ordering system through your phone, and then the waitstaff brings your order to the table. I initially received the pita version of what I had ordered, followed by the wrap version :D. I felt guilty for sending the order back twice, but being 23 weeks pregnant, I was really craving the sandwich. Once it finally arrived, it was worth the wait!

If you’ve never visited Nando’s, I highly recommend trying the chicken skewers and the 2 1/4 Legs with Mango Lime flavor. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, and the fries were a bit thicker than what most might expect. Personally, I prefer the rice as a side, which is turmeric-flavored if that suits your taste. Overall, the food was excellent and matched the quality I've experienced at other locations. Keep in mind that the restaurant is located next to a street, so you may need to park along the side of the road if you can find a spot nearby.
