Mr Pollo - Chicago

The best charcoal roasted chicken around! The chicken is very juicy and tender. The spices are wonderful but not overpowering. I love the sweet fried plantains and the steamed mixed vegetables. The homemade hot sauce pairs well with the chicken. I will definitely come back again!

The chicken is good and tasty. It comes with a spicy salsa that's very good. My only comment is they are strictly adhering to their name, Mr.Pollo. They don't serve any meat dish other than pollo.

We got the Family Dinner and Half-Dinner for pick-up and all the family was pleased with the taste of the chicken and sides (sweet plantains, crispy plantains, yucca, black beans). Service was kind, the wait wasn't long, the place was clean, and the price was great for the amount of food (6 adults and a kid were deliciously fed for about $50-60). Definitely recommend!
